We've had the RTG-74 NG installed for three weeks. Water delivery and temperature stability are superior compared to our prior twin 40 Gallon tank setup. Only glitch is that the unit did not resume after a (storm) power outage and required a manual 'power-on' This one unit replaced both 40 Gal units. Cost was only $300-$400 more installed than replacing both conventional units, making payback almost instantly with the $300 tax credit and immediate fuel savings.
